When I asked the Norwegian writer Pål H. Christiansen if he would answer a few questions about our work together, I wasn’t prepared to get such overwhelming answers.
So here’s the pure list of questions and replies. I’m speechless…
Thank you so very much, Pål!

We’re working together for one and half a year now. We had met through myspace. But while I had heard about you before, I suppose you didn’t know me at all. So what made you accept my offer to work with you?
Pål: Well, first of all you were very enthousiastic about my book “Die Ordnung der Worte” that had just been launched in Germany. You sent me myspace messages during your reading sessions and seemed to be a very reflected person. On the other hand I was able to study your background and different activities on the web: painting, webdesign, photography and writings. All this together was very convincing.
What has changed for you since then (in your business and in your way to see things) and what benefit do you have from our work together?
Pål: First of all I find our cooperation inspiring. It means that I am able to follow up ideas that I wouldn’t be able to follow up on my own. Before we started to work together I had actually reduced my activities on the web a bit, but now I (we!) am more active than ever. The decision to publish my novel „Drømmer om storhet“ in English through my own publishing company Fabula would never been taken without you pushing me to let you make a new website for both me an Fabula.
I’m not only working for payment but also give service for service. Especially to artists who tend not to have a big budget for PR. Do you think this is a good idea at all?
Pål: For me as an artist – yes! I cannot speak for you, of course.
Is there anything you don’t like about our work or any additional service you’d like me to provide that I don’t provide yet?
Pål: You should be my literary agent!
Would you recommend my work, why and to whom?
Pål: I would. First of all to those who like things to be done quickly and like to communicate and exchange ideas all the time!

This is a wonderful reflection on all the hard work you put in and the loyalty you obviously have for your clients!
I can understand very well what Pål means about you being a very reflective person. I can recall many conversations we have had that showed you to be so.
I say polish your PR hat! It works splendidly
(oh and have a glass of Whisky) x
Great! good interview for other artists/writers etc in the same position to read aswell. They can see that you mean business! and what an excellent business you provide!

Good for you … he sounds a lovely chap!
He is so right Nette. You are efficient for sure but what you give is so much more than that -’chicken soup for the soul’. You are a must have for any artist from any genre. I know I am indebted to you as are so many others. I am always grateful for the day our paths crossed.
Thank you all for your positive feedback! Pål’s and my paths probably never would have crossed without my web connection to you guys! I should thank Magne too!
Hi, Annette!
I think that I met now who I should be found before. I feel that I’ll learn a lot with you. Do we talk soon?
Thank you one more time!
[...] The most impressive project this year has definitely been “The Scoundrel Days of Hobo Highbrow”! Being in charge of the communications about this novel written by my Norwegian client Pål H. Christiansen is absolutely thrilling! If you had told me about this six years ago (when the Norwegian original was published and I read about it on a-ha.com) I wouldn’t have believed you! And now look at this inspiring and still growing cooperation! [...]
