What a great week! It was mainly consisting of meetings, intensified networking and organisation rather than having much output. But a lot has been moved in the right direction! So here’s a short summary of the most interesting aspects of my past week:
Meetings
The week started with planning a website in a meeting with a new client on Monday. Further meetings are planned and I think we had a good start.
On Friday I had a visit from my oldest client and good friend, the guitarist Christian Straube (see my previous blogpost).
We had already been working together a few years ago and are now back for almost a year. I had been doing mainly media-relations, press releases and event-PR for him before. And also a lot of photography, so this time we surely had to make some new photos too!
In the meantime I’m introducing him to the world of online communications. Therefore it was double helpful that just one day before the guitarist arrived, I got a preview of the coming book “Kultur und Web2.0″ by cultural manager Christian Henner-Fehr. I printed it out for my client and when I showed him all the tools and possibilities I could refer to the paper for further details. Very practical! Thanks again to the author!
New widgets
To make it easier for my blogreaders to find the blogpost recommendations I share from my feedreading and to see my FlickR photostream, I have added two new widgets to my sidebar on the right here. You’ll also find a widget with the Rockstar badge from Chris Brogan who was so kind to allow me to add my blog to his list.
…and a video
Being a PR consultant doesn’t only mean to get the media or the target groups interested in your clients’ products. Before you can do so you also need to get your clients interested in trying out tools they are not familiar with yet. And in this case, Pål, I thought my “sermons” had not reached their recipient.
But then I got this today and am now proud to present Pål H. Christiansen’s YouTube channel that will hopefully be filled with many more videos of himself and the fans!
So here is the very first video that Pål has ever produced:

Great work Nette! You keep everything on track. Next time I will hold the book a bit further down. The problem is that I have to see those small letters down there!
Thanks! Pål
