Inspired by yesterday’s blogpost by Jon Buscall I thought I’d blog about my office too.
Like Jon I’m working at home surrounded by lots of books, my artwork and things I got from my clients (like the Fjodor postcards in the shelf above my screen). It’s a really cosy place to work in.
The windows you can see in the picture above are part of the house’s glass front in form of a wave:
Sitting right behind this glass almost feels like sitting outside.
The name of the house is “Rheinwelle” (Rhine wave) due to its form and the fact that we live very close to the river Rhine. This is also why the house is standing on pillars.
In the videos I’ve made yesterday you can see the other side of my work place:
Btw. the big painting behind be is a former stage decoration that was used during a guitar festival in 2002 I had made the PR for.
So you see: there’s no stylish business office, no suits or costumes. Just the pure me in my own creative work environment. And that’s exactly like I want it to be!

Hello Annette,
This is a lovely idea sharing your office too!
All you need is a basset snoring away under your desk
Enjoyed the video too. I’ve been toying with the idea of being brave too but haven’t mustered up the courage yet.
Nice one.
